We’re starting to settle in. We have more boxes packed than unpacked and we’re still looking for certain items, but we’re basically functional. We probably won’t unpack completely in this apartment – we’ll wait until we can find a house.

I’ve got enough fiber and equipment out to start working projects. I could even start spinning if I had space to set up the wheel. This place is starting to feel like home. We’re connecting with family and Pam is re-establishing connections with old friends. I am figuring out a few of the roads, and Pam is driving all over the place – I keep being amazed how she knows where she’s going in this new place and I have to remember that she’s lived here before.

Anna is featured on Ambrial Acres (website, blog) along with progress on the construction of her new home. I think Ron and Tara are thrilled with here. I hope they understand that even though Anna is their alpaca, she’ll always be one of my babies.
