This is my sum total spinning output since June of 2005. A whole three skeins and change. Granted, it’s baby suri and fairly fine – not the fastest thing to spin – but it still isn’t that much output. I haven’t weighed the fiber or calculated yardage yet, and given time constraints, I probably won’t.

And I call myself “The Spinning Guy". I might have to change the name of this blog to, “The Plays Around at Spinning Every Few Months Guy". I’ve got to increase my production and that means spending more time with the wheel.

I’m really starting to stress packing and the move. My next major fiber project is figuring out how to safely pack the drum carder. All my fiber projects for the next few weeks involve packing something or cleaning up an area that has been dedicated to fiber.

Sometimes it is hard to remember the whole purpose of this change is to create more time for fiber.
